Korean Beef Bowl
1.5 lb Ground Beef
1 bunch of Green Onions, thinly sliced, white and green parts separated
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon Crushed Red-Pepper Flakes, or more to taste
1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger (fresh or the dried spice will work in a pinch)
3 cloves Garlic, minced (or 1.5 tsp garlic powder)
Cauliflower “Rice”, see below
Heat a frying pan over high heat until the pan is warm then add the ground beef, browning until there are no more pink bits. Drain the fat then return the pan to the stove.
Over medium high heat, add the white parts of the green onions to the ground beef and stir, cooking for 1-2 minutes until the onions begin to soften. Add the soy sauce, olive oil, crushed red pepper flakes, ground ginger and garlic. Stir thoroughly, tossing the sauce and spices with the onion and beef until the beef is thoroughly coated, warm. Serve over cauliflower ginger rice.
